Dr. Lewis Z. Leng is a board-certified neurosurgeon at Sutter Health.

Dr. Leng received his B.A. from University of California at Berkeley, graduating with Certificate of Distinction. Dr. Leng received his medical degree from Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania during which time he was a 21^st Century Scholar and received a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Fellowship. 

Dr. Leng completed his residency in neurosurgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. 

Dr. Leng is the current Chair of Neurosciences at Sutter Health California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, Department Head of Neurosurgery for Sutter West Bay Medical Group, Medical Director for Sutter Health Neuro-Oncology Program of Distinction, and Co-Director of Endoscopic Skull Base and Pituitary Surgery at Sutter Health California Pacific Medical Center. Dr. Leng is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Dartmouth Geisel School of Medicine.
