J. Alex Garcia-Young III, MD, DABR

Dr. Garcia-Young is a board-certified radiation oncologist with over 18 years of clinical experience in radiation oncology.
He graduated from the University of Utah in 1995 and worked in clinical research in the Infectious Disease department at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT. He then graduated medical school in 2000 from St. George’s University School of Medicine. He performed his internship in 2001 at the Mountainside Hospital affiliated with University of Medicine and Dentistry in Montclair, New Jersey and completed his residency in radiation oncology at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA in 2005, serving as the chief resident in his final year.
Dr. Garcia-Young joined the Radiation Oncology department at Memorial Medical Center in 2005. He is board-certified from the American Board of Radiology. He is the current the Medical Director for Radiation Oncology at Sutter Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.
