Sarah Borish, PH.D.
Dr. Borish Raffaelli is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in neuropsychological assessment for adults with cognitive complaints. She is a clinical neuropsychologist for Palo Alto Medical Founation and has served as an attending neuropsychologist at California Pacific Medical Center and Foresight Mental Health. Her clinical expertise is cognitive diagnoses across the lifespan including ADHD and learning disabilities, traumatic brain injuries/ concussions, psychiatric illnesses, multiple sclerosis, memory and movement disorders, and cerebrovascular disease. She also teaches graduate students in assessment and provides individual psychotherapy.
Dr. Borish earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia, and she then earned a Master’s degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education. Finally, she earned her Ph.D. from Palo Alto University with an emphasis in neuropsychology and with specialized training in neuroendocrinology and women’s health from Stanford University. She completed her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at California Pacific Medical Center. Her primary research interests include the effects of mental illness and substance use on cognition, women’s mental health, and neurodegenerative diseases.
