Dr. Nicholas Gonsalves was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. He attended Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT for his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience and Behavior. Next, he graduated from University of Illinois College of Medicine. He subsequently completed his general surgery residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. His primary interests include minimally invasive surgery, robotic surgery, abdominal wall reconstruction, bariatric surgery, and complex gastrointestinal surgery.

Outside of work, Dr. Gonsalves enjoys spending time with his family, going to the beach, and playing various sports.
