Jennifer Biltoft, PharmD, BCPS is the System Director of Formulary Management and Clinical Programs at Sutter Health. In her role, she oversees the formulary process, clinical programs and medication safety.  Jennifer earned her PharmD from the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy in 2003, then completed her PGY1 general practice and PGY2 critical care residencies at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, CO. After residency, Jennifer worked as the ICU pharmacy specialist, then moved to a system role where she has held various leadership roles since 2010.  She uses good humor and servant leadership to take an innovative approach, creating a team dynamic that is not only fun but highly productive in all they do.  Jennifer is passionate about collaboration between multidisciplinary teams throughout the health system, standardization of processes to help provide high quality, and ensuring we provide cost effective and safe care of the patients served. She aims to foster workforce development in order to enhance medication and patient safety. For her health system work, Jennifer was recognized by the Colorado Hospital Association as a Colorado Health Care Star in 2018.  Jennifer enjoys being a leader and seeing her teams succeed in not only day-to-day care, but the overall expansion of the profession she loves!  Jennifer is active in the Colorado Pharmacist Society (CPS) as well as national pharmacy organizations. Jennifer served as the CPS president for the 2020-2021 term; she is dedicated to advocating for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, students and the communities we serve. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, gardening, scrapbooking, and supporting her daughter’s love for volleyball.
