Dr. Gauchan is Chair of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Sutter Medical Group and Associate Program Director of the Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program at Sutter Health, Roseville. He is a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist with clinical expertise in lung cancer and thoracic malignancies.

He holds several leadership roles within Sutter Health, including Executive Council member for the Cancer Service Line and System Director of Pharmacy and Infusion Services and Clinical Informatics in Oncology. Passionate about education and mentorship, Dr. Gauchan is actively involved in training medical students, residents, and fellows. He is also a Principal Investigator on multiple clinical trials and has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals.
