Dr. Rana Elmaghraby is a Neurodevelopmental Psychiatrist, Medical Director of the transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) center, and an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Cincinnati Children's Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH. She completed her general psychiatry training at University of Minnesota and her Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at the Mayo Clinic. She began her research in TMS for youth in fellowship and continued on with several grant supported by the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Pscyhaitry (AACAP). Her current research focuses on identifying neurophysiological biomarkers of cortical excitability and executive function deficits in autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and Fragile X Syndrome (FXS). Dr. Elmaghraby’s long-term goal is to bridge neural mechanisms and targeted treatments for individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders.
