Kim Newlin, RN, CNS, ANP-C
As a Director of Nursing and Adult Nurse Practitioner at Sutter Roseville Medical Center, Kim helped build the Graduate Medical Education Internal Medicine Continuity Clinic which opened its doors in July, 2022. She also saw patients and supervised operations at the hospital’s transitional care Heart Health Clinic from 2011-2022. She worked with a multidisciplinary team and several post-acute care organizations to improve the patient experience during their stay in the hospital and the transition home, increasing access to patients from a large geographical area, while reducing readmissions back to the hospital. During her time in a leadership position in cardiac and pulmonary rehab from 2015-2022, both programs doubled in size and expanded services to provide care to more patients.
Kim is a past-president of the Preventive Cardiovascular Nurse Association’s Board of Directors, acting as advisor for the Million Hearts Cardiac Rehab Collaborative and participating on the AHA CVSN Complex Patient and Family Care committee.
