Philosophy of care: One of the great joys of being a heart failure cardiology specialist is that, while we often meet our patients at one of the worst moments in their lives, we have an opportunity to care for patients holistically and build strong and long lasting relationships with our patients and their families. We are also fortunate to find ourselves at the intersection of cardiology and endocrinology, rheumatology, immunology, palliative care, psychiatry, social work, engineering, and even artificial intelligence. This allows us to work with our colleagues, experts in their respective fields, in a multidisciplinary fashion to provide our patients the best care possible.

Professional interests: Advanced heart failure cardiology, including but not limited to heart failure with reduced ejection fraction, cardiac amyloidosis, cardiac sarcoidosis, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, heart failure with preserved ejection fraction, familial cardiomyopathies, heart transplantation, mechanical cardiac circulatory support, and cardiogenic shock.

Personal interests: I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, outdoor activities including hiking and snowboarding, and eating great food.
