Lorelle Carlley, M.D., was born in San Francisco and grew up in the Los Angeles area before attending Brown University in Providence, RI.  Dr. Carlley studied at Oregon Health and Sciences University (OHSU) in Portland, OR, for medical school, graduating in 1998.  She trained in combined Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).  After completing her residency and fellowship in Cytopathology, Dr. Carlley joined Alta East Bay Pathology, Inc. (AEBP), in 2004.  She has been a shareholder in AEBP, covering Alta Bates Summit Medical Center (ABSMC), since then.  AEBP expanded to cover Eden Medical Center (EMC) in 2009, and Dr. Carlley has worked primarily at EMC since then.
