I'm Brittany Behar. I'm a physician in the Plastic Surgery Department with a focus on hand and wrist surgery. I am originally from Philadelphia. I attended medical school at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. I completed my integrated plastic surgery residency at Penn State Hershey Medical Center in 2018 and then my hand/microsurgery fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania in 2019. I started my career at the University of Virginia Department of Plastic Surgery where I was the associated residency program director, director of medical student plastic surgery rotations and director of Hyperbaric Medicine. I recently started here at Sutter in Santa Cruz in July 2024 and have really enjoyed my time here so far. It has been great to serve the Santa Cruz community providing treatment for hand and wrist pathologies. I also enjoy treating patients after massive weight loss for breast reduction and for any other reconstructive needs. I'm very happy to be a part of the PAFMG/Sutter community.
