This weekly tumor board brings together a dedicated interdisciplinary team to collaboratively review and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with genitourinary cancers, including those of the prostate, bladder, kidney, and testes. Meeting for one hour each week, the group applies NCCN treatment guidelines alongside the latest advancements in diagnostics and precision medicine, while carefully weighing each patient's biological profile and socioeconomic context to ensure care is both evidence-based and equitable. Expert discussion spans the full continuum of therapeutic recommendations and emerging treatment strategies in GU oncology, with deliberate attention to clinical trial options. By uniting diverse clinical perspectives in a consistent, structured forum, this tumor board empowers its interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered genitourinary cancer care that keeps pace with the rapidly evolving oncology landscape.

Learning Objectives: 

After Attending This Activity Learners Should Be Able To:

1. Employ NCCN treatment guidelines to determine overall plan of care.

2. Formulate a treatment plan that considers a patient’s biological differences and socioeconomic impacts.

3. Use multidisciplinary input from expert discussions and therapeutic recommendations in the diagnosis and treatment of each individual patient.

4. Formulate patient-centered treatment plans that incorporate clinical trial options by identifying trial eligibility criteria, understanding referral pathways, and addressing patient-specific barriers to enrollment.
