Series Description: 

Our mission is to empower and elevate teaching faculty at Sutter Roseville Medical Center through a comprehensive and dynamic faculty development series. By fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation, we aim to enhance faculty members’ teaching, mentoring, and leadership capabilities. Through this series, we aspire to cultivate a vibrant and supportive academic community that promotes excellence in medical education, ultimately benefiting our residents, health care team members, and communities, as well as our patients and their families.

Physicians (MD or DO)

Learning Objectives - After Attending This Activity Learners Should Be Able To:

1. Locate resources provided by the ACGME that provides information for successful residency or fellow application, know what the requirements are for a residency or fellowship and design the educational program as required, and to initiate appropriate resources needed for a successful residency or fellowship program.

2. Assess residents/fellows progress in core competencies, recognize difficulties in achievement, and adjust training and education to achieve resident/fellow success.

3. Select appropriate faculty, design a program of development and assist faculty in becoming successful role models and instructors.

4. Develop and participate in a culture of well-being for administrators, program directors, faculty and residents.
