Description: 

In these weekly patient care conference, case studies, associated images, and findings for Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) and Transcatheter Edge-to-Edge Repair (TEER) patients are presented and discussed. Current evidence-based guidelines and recommendations for patient management and imaging are reviewed and recent research is shared to fine-tune care plan recommendations.

Learning Objectives: 

Upon completion of this course, learners should be able to:

1. Adopt new techniques and methods, guidelines, scientific evidence, and best practice recommendations for TAVI, TEER, and other valve patients shared through these conferences.

2. Integrate knowledge of new and emerging technologies in diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional cardiology procedures.

3. Acquire new information to identify implicit bias and better manage special patient populations, such as those with racial/ethnicity differences, gender differences, and substance abuse disorders.
