Description: 

Clinicians require a mechanism to remain up to date with the epidemiology of COVID-19, including newer variants, recent developments regarding treatment, vaccines, and current best practices for long-term COVID-19, which is a debilitating condition of unknown etiology. This series will address the current state of the COVID-19 pandemic, the dominant variants, and treatment options/prevention through vaccines.

Session Learning Objectives:

After Attending this Activity, Learners Should be Able to:

1.) Cite the current thinking about the pathogenesis of Long COVID-19

2.) Restate the current recommendations about the updated COVID vaccines 

3.) Infer how SARS CoV-2 is evolving. 

4.) Describe the changing epidemiology of COVID-19.
