Session Description: 

An understanding of basic intervention strategies provides a foundation for dealing with challenging patients and families. The interventions applied and ethical obligations met in the examples that will be shared will provide you with useful tools that can be adapted for other types of challenging cases you encounter.

1. Improve knowledge about how to adjust communication strategies to facilitate a variety of challenging interactions.
