The Psychiatric Grand Rounds is an educational series designed to improve psychiatric, psychological, and social work practice, including patient care, education, and public health. Relevant case studies are presented to promote active learning strategies. These presentations are open to all mental health professionals including students.

Session Objectives:

- Identify common ways political topics impact the therapeutic relationship and client emotional well-being.
- Examine strategies to maintain therapeutic neutrality and manage personal biases during political discussions in sessions.
- Describe effective techniques for exploring clients' political concerns while prioritizing their emotional needs and therapeutic goals.
