Laer Streeter (they/them) is an Ob/Gyn generalist at the Sutter East Bay Medical Group in Berkeley, California. They received a Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology with a concentration in health disparities at Stanford University and a Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health at the Keck School of Medicine of USC and completed residency at Boston University Medical Center. They have an interest in the intersection of reproductive and transgender health, striving for a future in which the field of Ob/Gyn universally provides care that is inclusive of all gender identities. They were selected as the 2024 ACOG Gellhaus fellow, an award selected to one Ob/Gyn resident across the nation, to lobby in Washington DC for a month with the ACOG Government Affairs team. They have been published in the New England Journal of Medicine and the American Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology and presented at various conferences including the ACOG Annual Meeting in 2023, the State Legislative Roundtable in 2024, and the CREOG APGO Annual Meeting in 2025 on topics pertaining to workplace inclusivity for transgender providers.
