Description:
The Genito-Urinary / Oncology (GU-ONC) Conference is a multidisciplinary case-based educational forum that brings together physicians, nurses and others involved in the care of patients with genitourinary malignancies. During each session, participants review prospective and retrospective patient cases to evaluate diagnostic findings, discuss treatment options, compare management approaches, and develop evidence-based recommendations for individualized patient care. The conference provides an opportunity for participants to examine complex clinical scenarios, incorporate emerging research and clinical guidelines into practice, and address challenges related to diagnosis, treatment planning, care coordination, and outcomes. In addition to case presentations, targeted educational updates are provided on topics relevant to genitourinary cancers. Through collaborative discussion and peer learning, participants enhance their clinical knowledge, reinforce best practices, and improve the quality and consistency of care delivered to patients with genitourinary cancers.
