Series Description: 

Practice gaps related to neuromuscular care result form a gap between best practice recommendations and real-world practice, such as the "osteoporosis care gap" where fewer than 20% of patients may receive care following best practice guidelines and large treatment gaps are observed especially for women >70 years of age with an increased risk for fragility fracture. This series was designed to support Advanced Practice Providers in the goal of applying current care recommendations related to the neuromuscular service line and provides strategies to improve clinical care as well as improve health care equity.

Physician Assistant (PA)

Learning Objectives: 

1. Apply current best practice care recommendations related to the neuromuscular service line.

2. Utilize strategies to improve health care equity for orthopedic patients. See attached document for specific sessions
