At the completion of this activity, learners will be able to:
- Identify high-risk markers for limb salvage failure.
- Discuss multidisciplinary coordination for successful limb salvage.
- Discover wound center care advantages.
- Consider advanced surgical techniques.
- Utilize vascular assessment (physical exam findings, ABI/TBI) to triage wounds for vascular referral
- Elicit the role of wound care classification tools (ie WIfI) in determining urgency of imaging/intervention
- Recite multidisciplinary roles in optimizing care delivery and outcomes no matter the etiology of wound
