Description: 

This series provides an interprofessional overview of patient assessment, care, and treatment in stroke and other complex neurovascular conditions, including unruptured aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations. As this field continues to evolve rapidly, the course emphasizes the integration of current scientific evidence, emerging research, and collaborative decision-making. Participants will engage in multidisciplinary case review and care planning alongside neurologists, neuro-radiologists, neurosurgeons, and neuro endovascular interventionalists, and others. This team-based approach supports the application of up-to-date knowledge and best practices to optimize patient outcomes in complex neurovascular care.

Learning Objectives

At the completion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  • Identify neurovascular diseases and conditions and recognize appropriate treatment interventions within comprehensive stroke and neurovascular care.
  • Interpret key diagnostic findings and formulate evidence-based treatment recommendations for complex neurovascular conditions.
  • Analyze areas of controversy and evaluate emerging evidence in neurovascular care to inform clinical decision-making.
