Description: 

This virtual Grand Rounds will review current challenges in urgent carotid intervention, including reliance on subjective judgment, hesitation to treat post‑thrombolysis patients, and inconsistent use of frailty assessments. The session will introduce a more objective, data‑driven approach that helps clinicians clearly identify which symptomatic patients are most likely to benefit from urgent revascularization. Participants will learn how validated predictive tools can guide precision treatment supporting intervention for low‑risk patients and optimizing medical therapy for those with higher procedural risk.

2) Explore potential benefits and limitation of home infusion versus Infusion centers. 

3) Review various reimbursement/coverage of home infusion services 

4) Understand role of physician/APC in promoting safe and smooth home infusion transitions from the hospital setting
