Cheryl Brunk, Bachelor of Science, Cal-Poly, San Luis Obispo

Cheryl Brunk is the Health Systems Director for the Alzheimer’s Association serving Northern California, Northern Nevada and Arizona and is responsible for leading outreach and engagement of health systems throughout the region. Cheryl serves to coach and consult with health systems and pull together best practices from throughout the Alzheimer’s Association’s nationwide network to help transform dementia capability within clinics, health systems and federally qualified health centers. Cheryl joined the Alzheimer’s Association in 2014 as Senior Director overseeing the Walk to End Alzheimer’s strategy. As a leader, Cheryl helped mobilize key volunteer leaders and staff members throughout the territory through community engagement, corporate and health systems outreach efforts, significantly growing the Alzheimer’s Association’s volunteer base and financial resources. Cheryl resides in the Central Valley and brings a depth of experience working directly with health systems and key corporate accounts for nearly 20 years with the American Cancer Society and previously 7 ½ years with the American Diabetes Association.
