Allison Acdol, RN, MSN
Allison has been with Sutter Care at Home since 2014 and currently serves as the Home Health Clinical Nurse Educator Lead. Before joining SCAH, Allison served various nursing roles including Acute Rehab, SNF, Med/Surg- Charge Nurse, Preceptor, and Super User for electronic charting. For over 25 years she has also educated groups on First Aid and CPR for professionals as well as the lay person. In 2014, Allison started her new role with SCAH as a Home Health AIM Care Coordinator at the San Francisco Home Health Branch, thereafter, she transitioned to the Clinical Manager position, in which she had served for over 5 years. While at SCAH, Allison earned a Master’s Degree in Nursing, with a focus on Nursing Informatics. She is currently trained as an Epic DoCo Superuser in multiple roles. As a lifelong learner, she aspires to obtain her DNP in Education.
In her spare time, Allison travels with her family and other organizations which provides her the opportunity to experience and learn about other cultures. Allison’s passion for travel took her to 50 states, and 5 out of the 7 continents. Fun fact about Allison: she was the youngest person to earn a “Spark Plug Award” by organizing an international cultural awareness education event.
In Allison’s spare time, she volunteers locally, providing emergency medical services at concerts and festivals. Internationally, she volunteered in construction, orphanages, and medical care during trips to Mexico, India, and Jamaica.
