This one-hour session is designed to support GME program leadership and faculty in adopting evidence-based practices for evaluating residency and fellowship candidates. Participants will explore the role and importance of effective interviews in the selection process, with a focus on holistic review, bias mitigation, and structured interview techniques. The session will highlight the advantages of structured over unstructured interviews and provide practical guidance on developing behavioral interview content and evaluation criteria to ensure fair and consistent candidate assessment.
