Jingjing Chen, MD, MBA
Dr. Chen was born in China but raised in Ohio. She graduated from Harvard University with a cum laude in Neurobiology. After graduation, she worked for two years in management consulting in the healthcare and technology sectors. She later earned her joint MD/MBA at New York University and completed her residency and stroke fellowship at Stanford University. During her training, she held various leadership roles in medical education and quality improvement at both the department and hospital level. She was the co-chair of the hospital-wide Residency Safety Council and mentored residents to lead the monthly neurology Morbidity, Mortality, and Improvement Conferences. She has also been recognized for excellence in teaching.
Dr. Chen is particularly interested in vascular and acute hospital neurology. She is currently practicing as a neurohospitalist with Sutter Medical Group at Roseville (and sometimes Sacramento).
In addition to providing compassionate care at the bedside, she hopes to empower clinicians through leadership development and quality improvement. She is passionate about affecting system changes that enable delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in an environment that makes medicine a fulfilling, sustainable career.
