Beth Sorauf graduated from the University of Massachusetts in Darthmouth with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Beth worked in medical/surgical intensive units, step-down cardiac unit, and in home health. Beth returned to school and obtained a Master of Public Administration from the University of San Francsico. Beth currently works as the Risk Officer for Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group (PAFMG). Beth serves on PAFMG's Risk Reduction Committe, and as the PAFMG Risk lead for the Communication Resolution Program (CRP). Beth has a national certification as a Certified Professional in Health Care Risk Managment (CPHRM). Beth has over 15 years in risk and quality management in both the acute and ambulatory setting. Beth enjoys working with various teams in identifying, analyzing, and ways to mitigate healthcare risks to improve patient care. Beth enjoys spending time with family and friends, being in nature, reading, pickleball, and hanging out with "Ellie" the Goldendoodle.
