Jennifer Ring

As the Vice President of Strategy for Greater Sacramento, Jen leads the development and execution of the Division's business plans, aligning our local Destination 2030 goals with market opportunities to drive growth and strategic advantage.
Prior to joining Sutter in September 2019, Jen brought nearly 20 years of healthcare strategy and business development experience. In her role as Sr Director of Business Development, Jen supported business planning and data analytics across CommonSpirit Health, supporting over 40 hospitals and medical groups in California, Arizona, and Nevada. Notable projects included developing system seismic retrofit strategy, precision outreach and marketing initiatives, front-door access and several OR efficiency projects. Prior to her time at CommonSpirit, Jen worked for Adventist Health as well as the California Primary Care Association. Jen was the founder of the Jewish Home for the Elderly's Center for Elder Abuse prevention, the nation's second long-term care based shelter for abused seniors in Connecticut.
Jen holds an Masters in Public Health from Yale University's Health Management program, a bachelor's degree in neurophysiology from UC Davis, a Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt certificate from Vanderbilt, and is a recent graduate of Sutter Health's Leadership Academy.
