Michael Hoaglin, MD

Mike Hoaglin, MD is Medical Director at Gut Feeling Psychosomatic Medicine in Oakland, California, with a cross-disciplinary clinical focus spanning acute care training, psychiatry-focused practice, and emerging translational science. Dr. Hoaglin completed nearly all of his emergency medicine residency training at Duke University and has been in psychiatry practice for the past eight years.
In his current role, Dr. Hoaglin provides psychiatric care that integrates psychopharmacology with interventional and neuromodulation approaches. His clinical experience includes transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), EEG-guided TMS, ketamine-based therapies (including IV ketamine infusions and intranasal esketamine [Spravato]), and stellate ganglion block (SGB) as part of treatment planning.
