Tasha Oswald, PhD
Dr. Tasha Oswald (she/her) is a licensed psychologist, clinical consultant, and advocate. Identifying as neurodivergent, she received a late-life ADHD diagnosis. She is a Level 3 trained Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist who integrates a neurodiversity-affirming approach and polyvagal theory.
Dr. Oswald established the NeuroAffirm Institute to provide clinicians with consultation and continuing education on neuro-affirming practices. She also founded the Neurodiversity Wellness Center in California, a pioneering mental health practice to support neurodivergent adults and teens.
Dr. Oswald specializes in working with high-masking neurodivergent women, individuals with a late-life diagnosis of autism or ADHD, and twice-exceptional working professionals and college students. She has presented at numerous conferences on topics related to trauma, mental health, and wellbeing in neurodivergent adults. Having a passion for research, she also spent 5 years at the UC Davis MIND Institute researching autism. Dr. Oswald was awarded an NIH-Funded Autism Research Training Program (ARTP) post-doctoral fellowship.
