Dr. Laura Zhang is Valley Area Clinical Director at Sutter Health. She received her Doctor in Pharmacy from University of Illinois at Chicago, followed by residency at University of California San Francisco. In her current role, she oversees clinical pharmacy programs over 10 acute care hospitals in the region, a regional clinical team, and collaborate with various committees and multidisciplinary teams across the system to optimize clinical pharmacy practice and patient care delivery. Dr. Zhang started her career as a critical care clinical pharmacist and has over 25 years of experience in both acute care and ambulatory care settings. In pharmacy leadership role, Dr. Zhang enjoys mentoring and empowering others to build successful programs.
