Monica Awad, PharmD, BCPPS, is a pediatric intensive care unit pharmacist and a member of the general pediatrics team at Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento, where she has practiced for the past six years. She actively precepts pharmacy students and residents and is deeply committed to education and mentorship. Dr. Awad completed her Doctor of Pharmacy degree and PGY-1 pharmacy residency at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California, where she also earned a teaching certificate. She further specialized in pediatric pharmacy by completing a PGY-2 pediatric pharmacy residency at Children’s National in Washington, DC. Dr. Awad is dedicated to improving outcomes in the pediatric population through the delivery of safe and evidence-driven treatment plans.
