David brings over 30 years of business and HR experience in high tech and aerospace industries spanning a variety of business roles (early career) and HR roles including leadership and organizational development, internal consulting and strategy, training, facilitation, and HR business partner. He holds a BS in Business Administration from UC Berkeley and an MBA from UCLA Anderson School. He is an ICF-certified leadership coach with over two decades of coaching experience.

Prior to joining Sutter, David worked at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena where he was awarded a top JPL award for his work establishing a Lab-wide leadership framework and development program. Despite being born in Chicago, David considers himself an almost-native of California having grown up in the Bay Area and spending most of his working career in Sacramento. Outside of work David likes to spend time with his family and enjoys travel, jazz music, photography, and being outdoors especially cycling, motorcycling, or most anything on two wheels.
