Dr. Sheena Maharaj is a pediatric pulmonologist and has been providing specialized care in the Sacramento region since 2015. She embarked on her medical journey at Chicago Medical School and furthered her expertise by completing both her pediatric residency and pediatric pulmonary fellowship at Miller Children's Hospital, in affiliation with the University of California, Irvine. Her clinical interests are particularly focused on managing conditions such as cystic fibrosis, asthma, and the care of tracheostomy-dependent patients. Currently, Dr. Maharaj holds the position of Medical Director of the Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis and Pulmonary Center, SMCS, Sacramento, where she continues to contribute to the care of pediatric patients.
