Dr. Daniel Ro is a board-certified neurologist and neurocritical-care physician at Sutter Health’s California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. He completed his undergraduate studies at Stanford University, his medical degree at the University of California, Irvine, and fellowship training in Neurocritical Care, where he also conducted research Center for Artificial Intelligence in Diagnostic Medicine. Dr. Ro helps lead several AI efforts within the Neuroscience Service Line, including the Sutter Telestroke AI Initiative, which automates quality-metric tracking across the system. His recent publication in NEJM AI discusses leveraging non-contrast CT imaging for opportunistic stroke-risk detection. His academic and clinical interests focus on using AI to enhance patient outcomes, streamline workflow efficiency, and advance neuroscience operations across complex care environments.
