I am a board-trained neurosurgeon with specialized expertise in spine surgery, bringing extensive clinical and academic experience to my work.  My undergraduate training was at Stanford University.  I completed medical school at UCLA.  I also have a strong insert stress in a research, and completed the PhD in neuro science with the California institute of technology.  I completed my Neurosurgery training at mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.  I developed a strong love of complex spinal surgery during training, and therefore returned to Palo Alto in Stanford to pursue fellowship training in spine.  

In addition to my clinical practice before joining Sutter, I served as Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery in the Hackensack University Medical system, contributing to medical education and mentoring trainees, and participating in academic research.
