Laurel came to SRMC in 2016 and worked for 6 years on 3 Tower, then served as Clinical Supervisor, Assistant Nurse Manager, and now Adult Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist for the Inpatient 8 units. Evidence-based practice is her passion, with specific clinical interests including Gerontology, Age-Friendly Health Systems, Psychiatric nursing, Delirium, healthy workplace environments, and new grad education/mentorship.
