Rebecca Hummel-Moore is a Nurse Practitioner and the Clinician-Coordinator for the Spasticity Management Program at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center in Berkeley, Ca. She holds a Master of Science degree in Nursing from Sonoma State University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Samuel Merritt University.  Ms. Hummel-Moore has greater than 10 years’ experience managing intrathecal baclofen pumps and has helped hundreds of patients over the course of her career with this troublesome symptom. As a certified Rehabilitation Nurse Practitioner, Ms. Hummel-Moore appreciates the multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of spasticity of neurological origin, understanding that collaboration among disciplines leads to better outcomes for patients. Ms. Hummel-Moore is extremely fortunate to be the handler (and giver of belly-scratches) of a certified Canine Companion facility dog, Nolanna, who works with her in the spasticity clinic and who is beloved by patients and staff alike.
