Dr. Michele Tang is an internal medicine, HIV and infectious diseases physician. She completed her internal medicine residency at UCSF, then worked for the Clinton HIV/AIDS Initiative in China for three years, mentoring Chinese physicians in the treatment of persons living with HIV/AIDS. She then returned to the United States to complete an infectious diseases fellowship at Stanford, where she studied HIV drug resistance and cryptococcal antigenemia. She has been at East Bay Advanced Care since 2015, and served as co-medical director since 2020. She is passionate about the prevention, care and treatment of PLWHA in our East Bay communities and beyond.
