Amber Baber is a dynamic nursing leader with nearly two decades of progressive experience in patient care, clinical education, and healthcare leadership. Currently serving as the program lead for Sutter’s Transition to Nurse Manager Program. Amber’s nursing journey began in 2008 as a nursing assistant, evolving into a registered nurse by 2014. Her career reflects a deep commitment to mentorship, professional development, and inclusive healthcare practices. She has held key roles as a Clinical Nurse Educator, Adjunct Nursing Instructor, and Assistant Nurse Manager where she empowered both staff and students through evidence-based education and hands-on leadership. She holds an Master of Administration in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Nursing Education. She has been recognized for her collaborative leadership style, adaptability, and passion for healthcare equity. Whether leading teams, mentoring future nurses, or driving quality improvement initiatives, Amber brings a thoughtful, people-centered approach to every aspect of her work.
