Fiona Dennison is a Senior Director of Informatics at Sutter Health, leading enterprise-wide initiatives that optimize clinical workflows, streamline documentation, and leverage technology to improve care delivery across 24 acute care hospitals. With more than 35 years of healthcare experience—including over 20 years in nursing operations leadership—she brings a deep understanding of both frontline care delivery and system-level transformation.

A board-certified Nursing Informaticist, Fiona has led numerous large-scale initiatives focusing on streamlining workflows, reducing documentation burden, minimizing alert fatigue, and eliminating redundant processes. Her work has consistently delivered measurable improvements in caregiver satisfaction, patient safety, quality outcomes, and operational throughput.

Passionate about solving complex healthcare challenges, Fiona partners with clinical, operational, and technology leaders to develop innovative solutions that simplify cumbersome processes and enable caregivers to spend more time with patients.
