Erin J. English, DNP, MSN, RN, PHN, IQCER is a Clinical Nurse Educator III in Acute Care Management for Sutter Health. She has worked in Acute Care Management since 2014, bringing over a decade of experience supporting patients with diverse needs across care settings. Erin has a particular passion for complex case management involving vulnerable and at‑risk populations, with a focus on improving care coordination, access, and outcomes.

Prior to her career in nursing, Erin worked in product and brand management within the tech industry, an experience that continues to inform her systems‑level thinking, interdisciplinary collaboration, and approach to improving healthcare delivery.  She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a Master of Science in Nursing, as well as a bachelor’s degree in psychology and additional degrees in behavioral science, natural science, and liberal arts.

Since 2019, Erin has served as an adjunct faculty member in the graduate nursing department at Samuel Merritt University, where she contributes to the education and mentorship of future advanced practice nurses. Outside of her professional work, Erin enjoys hiking, gardening, and traveling with her husband and two children.
