Ruth Illescas is an RN Case Management Leader with 10 years of expertise in acute case management, utilization management, and transitions of care. She is dedicated to advancing care progression through interdisciplinary collaboration, early barrier identification, and patient centered care transitions. Her capstone project focuses on optimizing discharge process by leveraging the discharge lounge to improve patient flow and support the organizational goal of achieving discharges by noon.
