Operations Manager, Rehabilitation Services

• Managed up to 70 staff in three locations; including Occupational, Physical, & Speech therapists, Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurses, Admissions Coordinators and clerical staff.
• Provides mentorship and operational guidance to inpatient services, and an off-site outpatient wound care clinic.
• Provides programmatic and operational leadership to the inpatient acute rehabilitation unit, including systems administration, appeal writing and tracking for the RAC audit program, UDS-PRO outcome data base system administration and ECIN program administrator.  Also includes completion of the CMS IRF PPS compliance criteria submission annually, FIM training and certification for the entire Acute Rehab Unit, liaison to the Medical Director and submission of utilization review for the Acute Rehab Unit. 
• Met operational budgets of approximately $3 million dollars with six separate cost centers
• Led the Rehabilitation Services department in 3 JCAHO surveys with no departmental Type I deficiencies.
• Facilitated and directed expansion of the main hospital outpatient orthopedic clinic from an initial 4 staff to a current staff of over 20.
• Led facility in development and implementation of the current off-site Wound Ostomy Care Center and outpatient orthopedic clinics in three sites.
• Led the Rehabilitation Department through successful Department of Health surveys for initial implementation of three separate outpatient orthopedic clinics and an off-site wound and ostomy care clinic.
