Currently, I practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Vascular Surgery at UC Davis Health, where I provide comprehensive outpatient care for patients with vascular disease, including pre- and post-operative management, advanced wound care, diagnostic interpretation, and patient education. I also serve as a Wound and Ostomy Nurse and Educator at Sutter Roseville Medical Center, supporting evidence-based wound prevention, wound management, and ostomy care across acute rehabilitation and inpatient settings.
Throughout my career, I have held clinical and leadership roles within major healthcare systems, including Kaiser Permanente, UC Davis Health, WellSpace Health, Sutter Health, and California Correctional Health Care Services. As Assistant Nurse Manager at Kaiser Permanente, I led wound care, vascular access, and campus support nursing teams while advancing policy development, staff education, quality initiatives, and wound care standardization programs.
My clinical expertise includes vascular surgery, advanced wound care, ostomy management, pressure injury prevention, primary care, urgent care, chronic disease management, and patient education. I am passionate about improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practice, interdisciplinary collaboration, clinical innovation, and staff development.
In addition to clinical practice, I have contributed to nursing education as a preceptor and instructor for Family Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant students at the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis. I have presented educational programs on wound care and pressure injury prevention and have authored and co-authored peer-reviewed publications in leading nursing and wound care journals. I also serve as a peer reviewer for Wounds and Wound Management & Prevention.
I am an active member of the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society and remain committed to advancing excellence in wound, ostomy, and vascular care.
