Benjamin Dean Shadle, MD, FACS, FASMBS, is a surgeon in the Division of Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery at Sutter Medical Group. He specializes in bariatric and metabolic surgery as well as advanced minimally invasive surgical techniques.

Dr. Shadle earned his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital and pursued advanced fellowship training in Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery at UCSF Fresno.

Board certified and a Fellow of both the American College of Surgeons and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, Dr. Shadle is dedicated to delivering high-quality, evidence-based surgical care to patients with obesity and related metabolic conditions.
