Learning Objectives
At the completion of this activity, learners will be able to:
- Understand the history of NPH, the reasons it's underdiagnosed, and it's association with other neurodegenerative diseases.
- Recognize the characteristic clinical and neuroimaging features of NPH.
- Understand the appropriate use of diagnostic fluid diversion (tap or drain trial) for NPH diagnosis.
- Review the latest literature supporting the use of VP shunting to improve gait and surgical aspects of VP shunt placement and management.
