Dr. Ryan Spielvogel is program director for the Sutter Family Medicine Residency Program, and medical director for Sutter Health's End of Life Option Act Services. He has been an active provider of assisted dying since it became legal in California in 2016. As an advocate for choice at the end of life, Dr. Spielvogel has written policy on assisted dying, helped craft legislation and testified on assisted dying statewide and internationally, and developed and published curricula on assisted dying in graduate medical education.
