Priscilla Titus is a highly accomplished registered nurse, clinical educator, and perioperative specialist with more than 25 years of experience in nursing practice, education, and cardiovascular surgery. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a passion for advancing clinical excellence, developing healthcare professionals, and improving patient outcomes through innovative education and simulation-based training.
Currently serving as a Clinical Practice Specialist with Adventist Health in Roseville, California, Priscilla leads system-wide perioperative education initiatives, including the Scrub Technician Training Program and Operating Room Transition into Practice programs. She is recognized for her expertise in simulation-based learning, curriculum development, and emergency preparedness training, including the design and delivery of Malignant Hyperthermia simulations. Her work also focuses on introducing nursing students to perioperative nursing and supporting the development of new cardiovascular surgical programs across the health system.
Prior to her current role, Priscilla served as a Clinical Educator with Dignity Health's Collaborative Learning Center, where she developed comprehensive Operating Room and Cardiovascular Operating Room training programs, contributed to national perioperative nurse residency curricula, and facilitated education across multiple procedural specialties. Her commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice has helped prepare countless nurses for successful perioperative careers.
Priscilla’s clinical career includes extensive leadership experience at Mercy General Hospital, where she progressed from Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse to Clinical Coordinator and ultimately Perioperative Nurse Educator
As a cardiovascular operating room nurse, Priscilla participated in a broad range of highly specialized procedures. Her hands-on expertise as both a scrub and circulating nurse established a strong clinical foundation that continues to inform her educational leadership today.
Priscilla began her nursing journey in India, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from India and later earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University, she holds the prestigious Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) and Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) credentials.
